Book Synopsis
Meet the Breeds is more than a book; it’s a celebration of the uniqueness that makes each of us special, human or canine.
Each featured breed showcases its own traits, personalities, and origins, teaching children that being different is something to celebrate.
Ines Thompson
Born and raised in a small wine town in Germany, I began my career as an ER nurse in 2009. After moving to Houston, Texas, in 2015, I balanced the intensity of nursing with my passion for storytelling especially, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I worked in both California and Texas. Now, as a mother of two, a spirited 4-year-old and a 2-year-old with Down Syndrome, I’m dedicated to crafting stories that foster connection, spark joy, and offer educational value.
Sneak Peak
They sometimes call me the grey ghost,
Out of all the dogs, I’m the duke’s host.
I used to hunt for deer, and bear.
But now l enjoy chasing a hare.
I love to run and play with honor,
I’m a smart and sleek Weimaraner.
